Valve is set out to conquer the world with Steam for a few years now, is unstoppable that’s for sure. First was released to gamers via its PC service, then expanded to MAC and apple users rubbed their hands. Today the Steam client lands on two new platforms.
IOS and Android. In fact, Valve today released the beta version and its free client for the two most widespread mobile platforms on the market. What can we do with them? Well sorry to for the disappointment but nothing, we will cannot start to downloading games like crazy in our phones.
It is a complement to the client on our computers, that tells us the state of our friends, the games they are playing and gives us the ability to chat with them and buy games that are remotely downloaded to your computer later. For example you don’t want to miss a last minute deal if you’re on the subway and you can not get home on time. You can download the application with your login information, you might be chosen to begin testing the service if you are lucky.
