New sources say that PlayStation 4 will feature a 2.9 GHz quad-core processor and Radeon HD 7670

Orbis, supposedly the codename for the PS4, combines the performance of two graphics processors.

IGN claims to have other sources close to the development of the PlayStation 4, they have ensured that recent leaks about the technical specifications of the next console from Sony are true.

According to these rumors, the code name PlayStation 4 would Orbis and set to launched in late 2013. The system would not be backwards compatible with earlier PlayStations and will include some sort of system to not allow execution of second-hand games.

PlayStation 4 will include an AMD-3850 A8 which has a quad-core processor at 2.9 GHz and an integrated graphics chip that would work with the dedicated graphics card, a Radeon HD 7670 at 1GHz with 1GB of VRAM would become a modification of the HD 6770 launched in 2011 able to work with DirectX11.

Sony has not commented on this information.
