3DS Nintendo will not be sold below its production cost

The company says its new 3DS is more expensive to build than current models of the mobile.
One of the Nintendo 3DS aspects that has not yet been revealed yet is the retail price, but little by little we are getting clues about it.
Satoru Iwata, Nintendo president has predicted the, obvious, to produce the new 3DS is more expensive to produce more than any current model of the mobile, but perhaps most significant is that the new 3DS will not sell below production cost.
This could mean that Nintendo 3DS will have a higher price than current models of Nintendo DS, as is to be expected after the company’s commitment to technology in the 3D field with his new system.
