Black Ops 2 is the next Call of Duty and will launch on November 13

[pid=14347]Some pre-order cards at a U.S. retailer say the official announcement will be on May 1.

The American store chain Target has advanced the official announcement that Activision will hold on May 1, indirectly confirming the next installment in the Call of Duty, as had been rumored to be Black Ops 2.

A reservation card at the chain store Target has served to confirm the title and release date of the game, which will be read as Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will launch on November 13.

Although not an official announcement, it seems strange that a retailer has engaged to printing these cards to distribute, but must acknowledge the title and release date.

The game would be in development for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, and possibly some other additional platform in the absence of confirmation and an official announcement from Activision on 1 May.
