Electronic Arts has no plans to continue the FIFA Street saga

“There is no plans” of making a FIFA Street 4. This is a real blow to us lovers of the series, lets hope EA can change their minds.

Although sub par Pure Football by Ubisoft has failed to gain a foothold in the market of lighter arcade sports, some industry professionals predict that Electronic Arts could have had an interest in resurrecting the FIFA Street series.

David Rutter, chief executive of Electronic Arts, has spoken with the British portal Computer andVideogames thereon, and has ruled out any type of project in this regard. “There is no intention to do that,” Rutter said when asked about a hypothetical FIFA Street 4.

“I can assure you that we spent much time with fans, and they spend much time learning to play FIFA,” said the executive made it clear that the focus of attention of fans and developers is now in veteran sports simulation franchise.
