A job offer creates a promising future.
Xbox 720 could take a step ahead of the competition to integrate with its Skype application. A detailed job description posted regarding the video call service and could expand with in-game features with next generation of consoles.
As you know, Microsoft has recently purchased the call and audio service know as Skype. TheVerge collected a job offer by the portal that offers promising future for the future of Xbox 720. The company could not only integrate this into its system call but could adjust it so as to modify and expand the gaming experience.
The job offer is seeking a job for a project “focused on enabling a new audio and video experience within a console and in-game level for the next generation of Xbox 360.” On the other hand, it is unknown whether this system will also come to Xbox 360 or, conversely, the entertainment giant will focus on Xbox 720, also known as Durango and renamed by some sources as Xbox 8.
You see, it seems clear that Microsoft will offer more than a traditional console. If with the current Xbox 360 we are enjoying many features and services, Xbox 720 would be expected to provide new experiences, perhaps more related to entertainment as a general concept. In short, a system that serves to play but also to watch movies or manage our own content. In short, make the platform the home entertainment center.
On the other hand, the motion sensor Kinect 2 could play a role in its gameplay. There are few rumors speculating of a new role as a player, like an actor in an interactive experience. Advances in detecting gestures and emotions may give it a new turn for the traditional gameplay. Interesting, right?
The proximity of E3 2012 could reveal new insights into this application and its possibilities in the Microsoft platform. The most optimistic forecasts point to launch in 2013, but there are many who stand by a 2014 release.
