Asymmetric games will be key for Wii U

Satoru Iwata talked about asymmetrical games, and today Nintendo itself has explained what its president was talking about when it referred to the way the controller would be used, and what the Nippon company considered “revolutionary” for Wii U.
“First, the images that appear on the screen of your GamePad and not have anything to do with what you see on TV,” he explained at the Nintendo press release. “In your GamePad you see different information, different points of view and therefore different advantages and objectives to those of your opponents, radically changing the modes of cooperative and competitive games that you played so far.”
“Besides, this way you will not be bored if your game score is high and your opponents low or vice versa, and thanks to Wii U GamePad, it will not matter if you play with another player with more or less level than yours” they assured.
