“We’ve never been first to launch and have never been the cheapest.”
During this E3 neither Microsoft nor Sony have shown anything about their possible future home console, which should be expected in the near future.
Jack Tretton, head of Sony Computer Entertainment America, has been asked by GameTrailers if they plan to launch PlayStation 4 before Microsoft releases its next console.
“I think if you look back in history, we’ve never been first to launch, we’ve never been the cheapest, it’s about being the best. I think it’s better to create a better machine to be released later, than to rush and throw something prematurely on the market, “he adds.
“In a perfect world, you want the best machine released first and is the cheapest. But the first goal is to have the best machine, and that’s always hat we are focusing,” he concludes.
