“Unlike our competitors who ship systems at a great price, we do not believe that.”

Reggie Fils-Aime, president of the American division of Nintendo, explained to the U.S. website IGNÂ that they are searching for “great value for money” from their Wii U regarding its launch.
“Nintendo believes that we must launch great products for the masses, so unlike our competitors who ship systems at a great price, we do not believe it,” said Fils-Aime. “We want to launch the console to a product that represents a great value. How do we launch the console at a price you can sustain for a long time? I think people will be pleasantly surprised as to how we manage the equation value for money. ”
“What I have heard of the community are things like` I want my Mario, Zelda and I want the best of the Third-parties’, and that’s what we’re offering consumers “he said. “So in the end the consumer’s decision will prove whether the purchase Wii U if satisfies that desire for Nintendo, desires that have to do with the large franchises platform? That is, for me, is the million-dollar question.”
