According to the head of marketing at Sony, John Koller, one of the main reasons why the PS3 came in third place due to the high launch price, but is proud of what the console has done so far.

“It’s no secret that we opened with a heavy price. And certainly others took advantage of us because of that, “said Koller in an interview with Kotaku.

“But we have absolutely no bitterness. This has been a great cycle for us, and I think if you ask any advertiser they will tell you the same. It was good and I think good things anticipated for the future of PlayStation. ”
