The Last of Us will have no cooperative mode in the main campaign

Survival horror-tinged shooter that presents a scenario in which the population has been decimated by a terrible plague. The survivors are killing each other for food and weapons. Joel and Ellie a brave teenager, must work together if they want to survive in a perilous journey across the U.S.

Naughty Dog has once again reiterate that they are not developing any kind of multiplayer co-op main campaign in The Last of Us.

The game’s director, Neil Druckmann, has confirmed to the site Gaming Examiner that yes there is multiplayer mode in development, but the cooperative game between Joel and Ellis in the main campaign is not among the plans.

Of course, they could include cooperative gameplay in the multiplayer itself, much like what we’ve been seeing with the Uncharted series.
