Sony offers details of the PlayStation Move steering wheel

Has an alternative configuration for motorcycles.

Sony has defended its wheel-shaped peripheral for PlayStation move, the PlayStation Move Racing Wheel which, they say, “is basically twice the accuracy of a DualShock.”

The controller, which was shown earlier this month, is still not confirmed for Europe but in the U.S will be priced at $39.99.

Mikahilov Anton, an engineer at Sony’s American division, explained that each of the parts of the directional vibration control has the style of the DualShock controller, the standard controller of the PlayStation 3. A vibration that should also be added to the PlayStation Move controller.

This accessory, which requires no batteries because it feeds of the PS Move controller, also offers a setting designed for motorcycle games, so you get more of a feeling of driving on two wheels. Here it takes advantage of the capacity of rotation on its axis of the right handle, which enables acceleration to emulate a motorcycle.

It is confirmed that games like LittleBigPlanet Karting, Gran Turismo 5, Need for Speed??: Hot Pursuit, Burnout Paradise and MotorStorm Apocalypse will be compatible.
