Wikipad unveils its technical specs

It is the tablet that incorporates traditional gaming controls.

Wikipad is a tablet with integrated traditional video game controls used as an accessory that is standard: analog sticks, digital cross and several buttons, including triggers. Now, the project leaders have unveiled its technical characteristics.
The final specifications of the device include a 10.1 inch display with 16:10 aspect ratio and 1280×800 pixels resolution. Finally it will not opt for any type of 3D image display.
Internally, it will have a Nvidia Tegra 3 T30 at 1.4 GHz and 1GB of DDR2 RAM. Its internal storage capacity shall be at least 16GB of flash memory.
Its OS will be Android 4.1 and with a battery of 23.46 Wh hopes to offer up to 6 hours play and 8 hours of video playback. It will have an 8-megapixel back camera and a 2-megapixel front camera.
It has not yet been revealed what will be its price, but is expected to arrive in stores, at least in the U.S. – before the year ends.
