GameStop is sure that the new consoles will arrive in 2013

The reduction in sales is typical of an end of cycle, they say.

Paul Raines, executive director of the U.S. retailer GameStop, considers normal sales show more modest at the end of a cycle of consoles.

“I think in the fall and Christmas is where we expect to see improvement, and Wii U will be important for this,” says Raines. “We believe that Wii U is a very important factor as to what may happen at Christmas. “Investors have been scared enough by the sales data.
