Resident Evil 6 could soon be heading to Wii U

New installment of the popular Resident Evil series which features Leon S. Kennedy and Chris Redfield as its starting cast. The title background is 10 years after the events in Raccoon City in Resident Evil 2, and visit several locations in the world.

Health Tablets

New to Resident Evil 6 is Health Tablets. While the player still finds herbs throughout the game, they can not be used directly to heal you. Instead, the player must convert them into tablets.

Tablets, which are not part of the characters inventory, can then be used one at a time to heal one of the players health blocks. The number of tablets currently available is visible on the HUD and the player can hold up to 12/17.

The new Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is not the only title that Capcom is working to bring to the new Wii U. The company has announced that new projects at hand for the Nintendo console. Will one of them be the expected Resident Evil 6?

On more than one occasion both names have been related. Resident Evil 6 and Wii U seem “condemned” than understood. It is true that with the advent of ZombiU it has already covered many of the aspirations of the console in the survival horror and shooter games, in its first launch phase that is, but to have the next installment in the franchise would be another big boost for Capcom.

For now, none of the companies have talked about a possible arrival of the title  to the console (it simply has been discarded in its initial catalog release), leaving it to the analysts, the media and fans to speculate on that possibility.

Now, rumors again soar to the latest information from Capcom. And the distributor and producer of video games today announced that Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate with, is immersed in other projects for the new Wii.

It has done so through its corporate director and vice-president, Christian Svensson, who has been wary of the news: “I have to be careful what I say here as it will surely be analyzed and misinterpreted” but immediately after it has been made clear: “We have other projects in development beyond MH3 Ultimate”.

However, Svensson did not want to clarify anything about these projects: “Unfortunately at this time I can not give more details”, but anticipates that it will be more interesting: “I’m sure that those interested in Wii U and members of Capcom-Unity. com did not ignore the news of these future projects when we they can finally announce them”.

Logically, many, hearing the words Capcom, Wii U and project makes them come to realize Resident Evil 6, a title that certainly would be good for the Nintendo console, and in turn the title itself, given the large success forecast of the former. For many fans, these words mean more open doors for the expected arrival.
