Dead Red Redemption sold 2.5 million copies in its first semester

New Super Mario Bros. Wii remains in second place leading single platform sales.

The NPD has released this afternoon the tops of video games sold by individual platforms and adding several different consoles sales in the United States during the first six months of this 2010. The results are spectacular, with a combined lead of Red Dead Redemption between PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 it takes to achieve the spectacular figure of 2.5 million copies sold.

Wii dominates the top 10 individual sales platforms with five games in the ranking, and surprising also that Modern Warfare 2 continues to exceed sales of Bad Company 2 even though the first was released five months before the second.
