But before that know that Frontierville is still full of bugs and so far there seems to be no clear effort to clear them. Neighbors are still not appearing as soon as you add them and that annoying we’d done lost internet connection message is still there. The white icon silhouette still appears from time to time.

Still, if you plan to go ahead and play Frontierville, then here are some tips to take note so you can play smartly.

Usage and Sources of Frontierville Energy

- Energy is replenished every 5 minutes. Take note of this one when you plant crops. Some crops can wilt very fast like the clover so if you plant them and you don’t have enough energy, they will wilt.
- You can buy energy using food accumulated. You can also buy energy using horseshoes. But this is not advisable
- You can get food from harvesting crops and fruit trees. Take note of this one especially if you’re visiting other homesteads.
- Sometimes when you harvest cherry trees you can get energy. This also happens when feeding your livestock.
- When visiting neighbors homestead for the first time you also get 5 energies aside from coins and cloth.

The Things You Get When You Harvest, Feed Or Clear Your Land

- Harvesting crops give you food and experience.
- Harvesting fruits give you food and experience and sometimes energy.
- Feeding your livestock gives you coins and experience.
- Cutting trees give you experience and logs.
- Clearing grass gives you coins and experience.

Bonus you get for visiting other homestead
- First time visit gives you 50 coins, 5 energy, and 1 cloth
- Doing tasks in other homesteads gives you reputation and experience; and depending on the task you do, you either get coins, food, or logs refer to above for harvesting guide

Planting crops or buying livestock will not spend energy but harvesting or feeding them will.

Getting married in Frontierville just like in real life offers no benefits. hahaha. You just get an extra character. lol.

If you must get married, you get to watch tv all day long. hehehe You can just click on your wifes avatar and all the chores will be done by her.

You can only hire two neighbors every day.

You can only visit each neighbor once a day.

When planning crops that are harvested really fast, take note of your energy level. So if you plan to have clovers for example; these things are ready after 5 minutes, and you plant 10 of them, make sure you have a ready 9 energy or you have enough food to purchase energy so you can harvest them.

Now this is important. Sometimes when you do tasks, you sometimes think that you’re having difficulty clicking on the coins or food or experience that comes out. This is not your internet connection. Just make sure that you zoom out. Too much zooming in uses lots of graphics memory hence the slow response. Try this one out.

When you’ve done a lot of tasks, make sure you refresh. This is just a precautionary measure because Frontierville is full of bugs and you could lose everything you’ve done when it says internet connection is lost.

When cutting down trees, if the tree requires 8 chops for you to cut it down, you can just click it 8 times in succession, provided of course that you have enough energy.
