Spiderman will save Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Edge of Time

 

It was first shown at last WonderCon in San Francisco and officially announced by its publisher shortly after. After revealing the plot of the game, Activision has distributed the first images and the first trailer for Spider-Man: Edge of Time, whose web will be deployed on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this fall.

In the title, Spider-Man will face one of its greatest challenges: to save his own life. Powered by Beenox, one of the studios of, Activision, Spider-Man: Edge of Time challenges players to adopt the popular image of the wall-crawler, and the version of Spider-Man 2099, to make a trip in time to avoid Peter Parker’s own death.

Time and fractures that occur therein will play a key role in the succession of events. We will move from the current image of The Amazing Spider-Man, the future corrupt Spider-Man 2099, all under the narrative work by acclaimed author Peter David (co-creator of the series of Spider-Man comics 2099). The game presents an argument “cause and effect”, where players will discover the consequences of their actions, and a visual style and graphic seen in the Shattered Dimensions.
