Fake Tears TM Location & Recipe Resources – How to get it in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, while you’re working through the main story and collecting all the Pokemon you can, you’ll come across Technical Machines, which allows players to learn recipes to teach their Pokemon new moves. It can get overwhelming trying to remember where resources and recipes are, though. If you need to know how to get Fake Tears, we have all the possible locations to find the TM recipe, including a list of resources you’ll need.
Fake Tears TM003 Location – How to get it
You can find Fake Tears TM in Glaseado Mountain, East Province (Area One), South Province (Area Two and Five). It is also a reward for defeating Team Star Boss Giacomo. Once you have this move, you will be able to teach the Fake Tears to your Pokemon, which has the effect of: “The user feigns crying to fluster the target. This harshly lowers the target’s Sp. Def stat.” As many TMs are found in the world of Paldea, be on the lookout for Yellow Poke Balls!

Fake Tears TM Recipe – How to make it
To craft Fake Tears, you will need the following resources: 400 LP, 3x Bonsly Tears, and 3x Teddiursa Claw. Once you have the recipe, you’ll be able to craft the recipe at any Pokemon Center’s TM Machine as long as you have the required resources to do so.
Tip: If you need more League Points (LP), remember that you can trade in materials you won’t be using to the TM Machine in exchange for LP. You can also receive LP for interacting with Tera Raid Dens (they look like large, sparkling crystals). Sparkling Pokemon will give you LP when defeated or caught.
