Pokemon Scarlet and Violet bring some new additions to the game, which means there’s a lot of new pocket monsters out there that can be collected and battled against. When battling against certain Pokemon, it’s unclear what type they are initially, so learning which moves you should use is very important! Primeape Weaknesses

Primeape is a Fighting-type Pokemon, which means they have weaknesses to Fairy, Flying, Psychic-type moves. It is immune to nothing, but it is resistant to Rock, Bug, Dark attacks.

While any Fairy, Flying, Psychic-type moves will be sufficient to finish of Primeape, you will want to focus on Physical Attacks moves if you have them. Primeape has higher Special Defense, which means you will have much better luck using Physical Attacks.

As for specific Pokemon you want to avoid bringing into battle against Primeape, you will want to make sure to leave Dark, Ice, Normal, Rock, Steel-types out. They all have at least one weakness to Primeape’s attacks. Primeape also carries Dragon, Ground moves, so be careful with Dragon, Electric, Fire, Poison, Rock, Steel Pokemon.
